Colin Montgomerie's 31st European Tour victory yesterday when he beat Swede Niclas Fasth by a stroke to end a 19-month absence from the winning enclosure.
Montgomerie had trailed the lead by four shots overnight but a series of stunning putts and two great strokes of luck at the two final par-three holes, saw the 44-year-old Scot home. Click to read full article.

Golfing legend Colin Montgomerie was in Bahrain recently to put the finishing touches to his new design at Riffa Views. Accompanied by his associate designer, Robin Hiseman, Monty walked through the new course design and made a few minor adjustments.

What's the worst thing you've seen amateurs do in pro-ams? I was playing in a pro-am at Loch Lomond ahead of the Scottish Open once and the CEO of a major company and me were heading to the 17th tee.
